Some expect their pets to distinguish between wrong and right without guiding them. But human etiquette is not something that comes naturally to cats and dogs. You must teach them what is not acceptable, and the key is to be consistent. Remember to reward them for good behaviour. A trainer can offer assistance if you need advice.
