Description for Hartfell Farm

Hartfell Farm is set in a forested valley near the village of Dullstroom in Mpumalanga, an easy 3 hour drive from Gauteng or Limpopo. Situated 10km from Dullstroom on a dirt road which requires a high rise vehicle, ensuring undisturbed peace and tranquility. Limited pet friendly accommodation (please ask). The farm offers privacy, leisurely walks and boasts five well stocked fishing dams. Catering to both the families and keen fishermen, the farm offers a choice of 3 secluded accommodation options set in the old oak and black wood forests. The imposing mountains, rivers and grasslands of the Mpumalanga Highlands presents the opportunity for activities such as fishing, birding, hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing to mention a few. Piet, the farm owner, is on hand to assist with his knowledge of the local fauna, flora and activities. Area hikes to our stunning waterfall and lookout points are a highlight for nature lovers while our surrounding forest offers a large variety of bird and plant life.
